2. Data Collected and Purposes

2.1 Site Browsing

While browsing, anonymous browsing data (IP address, browser, pages visited) is collected via Google Analytics. This data is used to analyze site usage and improve the user experience. The data is anonymized and does not allow direct identification.

2.2 WhatsApp Links

Clicking the WhatsApp buttons or links on the site redirects you to the WhatsApp app. Messages you send via WhatsApp are handled directly by Meta Platforms, Inc. in accordance with the WhatsApp privacy policy. SigmaExams does not store the content of WhatsApp conversations.

2.3 Google Maps Link

The link to the Google Maps listing found in the "Success Stories" section redirects to Google LLC. The Google privacy policy applies.

2.4 Social Media

Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook redirect to the respective platforms. The privacy policies of each individual platform apply.

3. Cookies

This site uses technical and analytics cookies (Google Analytics GA4).

• Technical cookies: necessary for the site to function. They do not require consent.
• Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat): used to collect anonymous browsing statistics. This data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.

You can manage your cookie preferences from your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect the site's functionality.

4. Legal Basis

The processing of browsing data through analytics cookies is based on the user's consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), expressed via the cookie banner upon first visit. Technical cookies do not require consent as they are necessary for the site to function.

6. Data Retention

Browsing data (Google Analytics) is retained for 14 months. Any data provided via email or WhatsApp is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request, and in any case no longer than 12 months after the relationship ends.

7. Transfer of Data Outside the EU

Google Analytics uses servers located outside the European Economic Area as well, including the United States. The transfer takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, entered into between the data controller and Google LLC, ensuring an adequate level of protection for personal data pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

For data transmitted via WhatsApp, Meta Platforms Inc. may transfer data to the United States on the basis of SCCs. For more information, see the WhatsApp privacy policy.

8. Security Measures

SigmaExams adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or accidental access, in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR. These measures include:

• Encryption of communications via the HTTPS protocol
• Data access restricted to authorized personnel
• Firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Periodic updates of the platforms used
• Pseudonymization of IP addresses collected by Google Analytics

9. Disclosure of Data

Data is not sold to third parties. It may be disclosed to technical service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) who act as data processors in compliance with the GDPR.
